The app was tested with 5-6 year old kids who received it really well. I did the best I could keeping in mind the target audience. But naturally it cannot work for every child and for all ages. Also the instructions are always repeated when the app notices that kids are not making any progress. This single-player game is simple to understand, even for a five-year-old.

It gives short instructions to help kids go on, but at the same time it tries to keep a sense of mystery and leaves things to be discovered by playing. Keep in mind also that these childrens games for Mac free are entertaining. The app does not explain everything right away. We tried to to give kids just enough instructions to be able to figure out what to do in the app. There are voice over instructions in the app. While it doesn't teach math or reading, it does have some counting, lots of logical reasoning and problem solving, a little bit of personal hygiene and we hope it shows an example of empathy as well when treating the sick monsters. However, I'd like to think it has educational elements as well. It's trying to be different and really exciting. The purpose of this app is not to be super educational. Life Is Strange was a big hit back in 2015 (although the Mac version didn't arrive until a year later), bringing a Twin Peaks twist of mystery and small-town weirdness to the adventure game genre. I think it should not be, because you are right, the app is not that educational. I'm surprised that the app was found with your search. I hope that this would change because if it does then I would re-download this app back. It was just a game for that age group that made no sense to me. It had no reading, no math, no science, no social studies, NOTHING. When I mean more, I mean like I didn’t really understand the game so I feel like a little bit more instructions would be great and I don’t see any education in this app. So when I tried this I was thinking of something a little bit more. Here are some that are fun but challenging, and which will help with language, reading, writing and maths skills. I read the reviews and the stars and I decided to get it but I wanted to try it myself to see what it really teaches. Fun learning ideas for 10-year-olds Your child will still enjoy playing games but you may need to initiate them as there are often so many other demands on their time. I wanted to get an education game so I went to the App Store and search education games for 5 year olds. I was looking for a game for the 5 year old.
